Sir Ken Robinson discusses the paradigm shift in education

This animate was adapted from a talk given at the RSA by Sir Ken Robinson, world-renowned education and creativity expert and recipient of the RSA’s Benjamin Franklin award.  I’m wondering if Sir Ken Robinson has even heard of Sudbury Valley School.  I might have to write and ask him.

  1. This is a very thought-provoking video, and highlights many of the problems in the education system today – is it about getting kids to pass the test, or actually to prepare them for life?. Indeed, a lot of social issues schools attempt to approach, but, due to various reasons have no time to follow it up. Four years ago, a company came into my school called humanutopia and inspired me, and the rest of my school to change our perception of ourselves and one another. They inspired change and changed my life. Have a look: http://www.humanutopia.com/
